Keep It Beautiful
Fabric care, made simple
Loved pieces last longer with a little gentleness. Find your fabric below — the symbols show you the essentials at a glance. When in doubt, always follow the care label sewn into your garment.
Cotton & Linen
Breathable, easy, everyday.
- Machine wash cold (30°C or below) on a gentle cycle, with similar colours.
- Turn pieces inside out to protect the surface and any prints.
- Hang or line dry in the shade — direct sun can fade deeper tones.
- Iron on medium heat while slightly damp; linen loves a light steam.
- A few natural creases are part of linen’s charm — wear them with ease.
Satin & Silky Fabrics
Fluid, luminous, a little precious.
- Hand wash in cool water with mild detergent — or use a mesh bag on the gentlest cycle.
- Never wring or twist. Press water out softly between your palms or a towel.
- Lay flat or hang to dry away from sunlight and direct heat.
- Iron on the lowest setting, inside out, or hover with a steamer.
- Hang on a smooth or padded hanger to keep the drape flowing.
Knits & Sweaters
Soft, cocooning, made for slow days.
- Hand wash in cool water, or machine wash inside a mesh bag on the wool/gentle cycle.
- Dry flat on a towel, gently reshaped — hanging when wet stretches the shoulders.
- Fold, don’t hang, when storing to keep the silhouette true.
- Lift fuzz balls gently with a fabric shaver or comb — they’re natural with wear.
- Let your knit rest and air for a day between wears.
Denim
Lived-in, honest, better with time.
- Wash less often — denim gets better the longer you live in it. Air it out between wears.
- When it’s time, turn inside out and wash cold on a gentle cycle.
- Wash dark denim separately for the first few washes — indigo likes to wander.
- Hang to dry; skip the dryer to keep the fit exactly yours.
- Spot-clean small marks with a damp cloth instead of a full wash.
Pleats, Lace & Delicates
Fine details, quiet craftsmanship.
- Hand wash gently in cool water — or use a mesh bag on the most delicate cycle.
- Hang pleated pieces to dry so the pleats fall naturally back into place.
- For lace and embellished pieces, lay flat to dry on a towel.
- Steam rather than iron — never press pleats flat with a hot iron.
- Store pleated skirts hanging, or rolled softly, to keep every fold crisp.
